Special Features


Yarn length meter LMC-V for measurements in cm and LMI-V for measurements in inch

Sensor controlled unit with a sensor (mounted on machine frame) and magnet (mounted on rotating part) for automatic start/stop signal

Precision, ball-bearing mounted wheel is recessed into an adjustable slot on the rear side

Material slip is eliminated by maximum enlacement of material (approx. 120°) with rubber coated wheel

It is stationary mounted between filament break monitors and filament guides using the supplied magnetic base.

Operation
Schalter der Fadenlängenmesser LMC-V und LMI-VIn ”Auto” mode a permanent magnet is mounted to a revolving part of the machine. The sensor supplies the start/stop signal. The predetermined number of revolutions (from 1- 99 rev. set on the rotary switches at the front side) are counted and the cumulated yarn consumption is displayed.

In ”Basic” mode the unit works without external sensor; Operator determines measuring time by pushing start/stop button.

Advantage of yarn length meter LMC-V and LMI-V use:

  • Continued measuring of the yarn consumption of all knitting feeds ensures uniform stitch lengths and hence homogeneous fabric structure.
  • Predetermined fabric specifications can be reliably maintained and repeated.
  • The quantities of each type of yarn which are required for producing particular fabrics can be simply and accurately calculated.
  • The use of LM ensures the same fabric quality, respectively structures can be produced on different machines in the same quality.
