Yarn length meter LMC for measuring cm and LMI for measuring in inch

Basic unit with Start/Stop button for manual, easy and quick measurements

Precision, ball-bearing mounted wheel is recessed into an adjustable slot on the rear side

Material slip is eliminated by maximum enlacement of material (approx. 120°) with rubber coated wheel

Operation
The unit works without external sensor.  Operator determines measuring time by pushing start/stop button.

Advantage of yarn length meter LMC and LMI:

  • Continued measuring of the yarn consumption of all knitting feeds ensures uniform stitch lengths and hence homogeneous fabric structure.
  • Predetermined fabric specifications can be reliably maintained and repeated.
  • The quantities of each type of yarn which are required for producing particular fabrics can be simply and accurately calculated.
  • The use of LM ensures the same fabric quality, respectively structures can be produced on different machines in the same quality.
