Tension sensor FSR with integrated measuring amplifier and high accuracy of 1.5 % FS

Sensor for installation at an existing deflection pulley; the in- and outcoming angle β has to be 20° or more.

Ball-bearing mounted steel or aluminium guide rollers 29.5 mm and 70 mm groove Ø,
– V-grooved (for material with max. 4 mm Ø)
– U-grooved (for material with 3 up to 10 mm Ø)

Various output signals are available:
– analog: 0 – 1 V DC (standard), 0 – 10 V DC (optional)

Mounting

Tension sensor FSR can be easily mounted everywhere a deviating point respectively a guide roller is built in at the machine. These places can be used as measuring point, assumed the in and outgoing angle is constant.

Determining the Tension Range

The tension range can be calculated for every wrapping angle with this formula:

Formular for tension range determination of One-Roller tension sensors When selecting the nominal measurement force it is necessary to take into account the weight of the guide roll and raise the nominal load respectively, particularly when working with small nominal forces.
